I know the BART station is right outside the international terminal, but I am not sure I want to mess around with taking the train from terminal 2 to the International terminal station, going into the terminal, getting the card, then going back out to the BART station. Using your card Each time you tag your Clipper Card while using public transportation, you can see the cost of the ride and your remaining balance on the card reader machine or the expiration date for your pass. But only at the international terminal? I won't be arriving there. Looking at the SFO website, it seems it may be true. The Clipper app cannot be used to pay for transit. However, this response suggests there is. Clipper is the all-in-one transit card used for contactless fare payments throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Not even the BART station (no MUNI station at SFO). True or not? The webpage doesn't seem to indicate there is a place in the airport to buy them. However, I was having a hard time seeing if they were sold at any ticket machine. I like the idea of one card that covers multiple entities, plus I just like the way they work. Just paid per ride for my BART rides and MUNI rides. Clipper is an all-in-one transit card that keeps track of any passes, and value that you load onto it, while applying all applicable fares, discounts and transfer rules. ![]() Last time i was there they didn't have the Clipper card from what I remember. The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) manages the regional Clipper Card for San Francisco Bay Area transit agencies, including BART. Visit Golden Gate Transit Customer Service Center at the San Rafael Transit. I do autoload so have not paid attention to that at SFO You can check with the desk and if they do it fine but if not at the BART station at SFO Clipper payments can be made with your smart phone or with a Clipper card. The info booth at the Baggage Claim areas also issue clipper cards and I presume they can top them off as well. I know you can top it off at the BART station at SFO.
